Okay-I'll be the first to admit, I haven't loved anything Chris Claremont has written since his departure from the X-Men in the early 90's- but I still get excited every time they announce he is on a new x-project even though it usually disappoints. This time it was a little different- he was going to "pick up where he left off" on his run on the X-men back in the day. I got it mostly out of obligation but was excited nonetheless. I have to admit it was pretty darn good! There is something to be said about way too many character with way to many problems-not to mention thought balloons and hilarious subplots that we're never likely to see play out! Ahhh- it's nice to get your moneys worth and read a comic book that takes an hour and a half to read! Highly recommended! Fo' Sho'!
I dropped about before Claremont did. I heard that there were several unresolved plots. But I fondly remember you and I and some of our comic nerd friends babbling and gossiping about the X-verse like they were our soap operas. Good times. I'm really curious about this new thing though. It makes me wish I could catch up somehow.
